VERONA. ITALY
FEDERICO & ANASTASIYA
A wedding in red at Villa Rizzardi. Ukrainian heart, Italian soul and a celebration that never stopped dancing.
Federico and Anastasiya, an Italian groom and a Ukrainian bride, celebrated their wedding on 26 September at Villa Rizzardi, a historic estate in the hills of Valpolicella, just above Verona. Surrounded by vineyards and the 18th-century Garden of Pojega, the whole day was dressed in bold, unforgettable red.
The day moved between quiet moments and pure joy. Basta, the couple's dog, was part of every chapter, a saxophonist played from the villa balcony, and golden hour filled the garden before a dinner in red took everyone's breath away and the champagne tower began to pour.
As night fell, Anastasiya changed into her second dress and the band took over. Two cultures, one dance floor, and guests dancing on the tables long into the night. Elegant, warm and completely unpretentious, a celebration full of real energy.
HIGHLIGHTS
THE RED GARDEN
Villa Rizzardi. Valpolicella. Italy
Villa Rizzardi stands in the heart of Valpolicella Classico, an estate owned by the Rizzardi family since 1649. Its Garden of Pojega, designed in 1783 by architect Luigi Trezza, unfolds across three terraced levels and ends in a rare green theatre shaped from box, hornbeam and cypress, one of the best-preserved in Italy.
For Federico and Anastasiya it became a stage for red: florals, tables and details by Lorien Wedding that glowed against the cypress green.
