Karl and Tamara, based in Amsterdam, celebrated their wedding at Solar de Pancas, a 15th century estate set among the vineyards of Alenquer in the Portuguese countryside. Their fall celebration followed a Ghanaian ceremony a month earlier, honoring Karl's roots and Tamara's Indonesian heritage.
The day unfolded in front of the ivy covered estate house, where a Ghanaian ceremony leader from the Netherlands guided a service that felt spiritual and full of heart. As they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife, a joyful Ghanaian gospel song filled the air. Tamara wore a strapless silk dropped waist gown by Blanc Wear with a dramatic train, paired with off white Prada mules. Karl in a white tailored tuxedo from Atelier Munro.
A Bossa Nova band carried cocktail hour in the vineyard garden. Dinner moved into old school R&B from their DJ friends flown in from the Netherlands, sparklers formed a tunnel of light as the couple walked toward the cake, and the night ended with a champagne spray that Tamara took into her own hands.
