A beach wedding at InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula
Jin and Alexandra brought their families and friends to the Son Tra Peninsula for three days in February. A welcome evening among the palms and black and white pavilions of the resort, a Casino Royale night dressed head to toe in red, and a wedding day that ran from the beach at sunset to a dance floor long past midnight.
The ceremony took place on the resort's private beach: a mirrored aisle lined with wildflowers, a pavilion of blooms open to the sea and the green slopes of the peninsula behind the guests. As the light faded, everyone moved indoors, where columns of flowers, crystal and candlelight turned the hall into a dining room for the whole family.
We photographed all three days as a duo, from the first welcome toast to the last song of the night, with a film camera in our pocket for the party.
